Can you find a product by its tradename?

Tradenames are commonly assigned by developer to its products. Examples include Round-up Ready (Monsanto), Liberty Link (Monsanto) and StarLink (Aventis Crop Science). You can search for a product in the database by its tradename by entering the tradename in the Keywords search criteria. The Product Information Summary associated with each product in the database may include tradenames associated with the product.

Tradenames are assigned by the developers, not by any of the U.S. Government agencies involved in the regulatory process. Therefore, the list of tradenames is not regularly maintained within this system, but rather included for informational purposes on an "as available" basis. If you cannot find a product by its tradename, that does not mean it is not in this database, rather that its tradename has not been associated with a U.S. regulatory agency action.
